La Liga giants FC Barcelona have reportedly entered the race to sign Portuguese star midfielder Bernando Silva. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club were impressed by the 22-year-old as they were scouting another key target Fabinho at Monaco.

Silva shares the same agent as Jose Mourinho (Jorge Mendes) and it was believed that this would give him an upper hand on the negotiating table. But it appears that the Cules are going an extra mile in the pursuit of the player's signature.
Barcelona's technical director Robert Fernandez was recently spotted in Monaco's game vs Nice. Reports in France suggest that the La Liga defending champions could be targeting a double deal for Fabinho and Silva in the summer.
