Jose Mourinho is not new to mind games - any football fan who has watched him manage various clubs in Europe can testify to this. The Portuguese tactician is expected to rally his troops on March 11, hoping to destroy Chelsea at the Bridge in the final of the FA Cup.
But Jose knows very well that this battle will not only be won on the pitch - it requires more than just that - and that's where mind games come in. Speaking during a pre-match press conference after his men forked a 2-1 win over Blackburn rovers in the fifth round of the FA Cup, Mourinho hinted that Chelsea were at a better position to win the quarter-final clash.

He mentioned how Manchester United were still actively competing on other competitions, which include the FA Cup, Carling Cup, Europa League and as well as fighting for a place in the top four in the Premier League. Anyone who has been following Mourinho's press conference can easily tell that this could be one of his mind-games ahead of the much-anticipated clash at the Stamford Bridge. He told reporters:
''Probably Chelsea can only think about that (the FA Cup) because I think they are champions and they have nothing else to fight for,' he said in a clinical and brief press conference.
''The FA Cup is something I believe is important for them. I have to play St Etienne (on Wednesday), I have to play the (League Cup) final, I have to play hopefully another opponent in the Europa League. I have to fight for a top-four position in the Premier League.
''I have so many things to think about. The match is in one month's time. I don't want to be speaking about it.''
