Matchday 20 was not a good one for most of the top ranked sides. That is, except for Bayern Munich, and even die Roten did not have it easy. However, Carlo Ancelotti's men sit seven points clear of the chasing pack and are on course to make it an unprecedented fifth straight Bundesliga title. Still, RB Leipzig will not be going away without a fight and will be eager to get back on track after suffering a reversal last weekend.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the next batch of fixtures, which starts on Friday, February 17th with Augsburg welcoming Bayer Leverkusen.

Bundesliga - Matchday 21 overview

Bayern Munich were the only one out of the top seven sides to come out on top on matchday 20. It wasn't an easy win for die Roten, as they needed two late goals to see off relegation candidates Ingolstadt. Carlo Ancelotti's men will come into their next fixture having humiliated Arsenal 5-1 in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League tie. With a spot in the quarter-finals all but assured, the Bavarian titans will turn their attention to Hertha Berlin, who themselves have been in solid form all term.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have had a rough week. Die Schwarzgelben first were given a rude shock as they lost to bottom-ranked Darmstadt last round and also were frustrated in their Champions League round of 16 tie as Benfica managed to hang on for a 1-0 win. Thomas Tuchel's side will be looking to rebound as they travel to face Wolfsburg on Saturday.

As for RB Leipzig, they ended up losing 3-0 to Hamburg. That marked the first time die Bullen ended up conceding three goals so far this term, and it marked the second straight defeat for the Bundesliga debutants. Still, they will not go away without a fight, and will be determined to right the wobbly ship against Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday.
