The South American striker turns 30 on Tuesday, giving him one more good reason to try and beat Barcelona in the 1st leg of their Round of 16 matchup.

They've played as team-mates for Uruguay for almost a decade, but that doesn't mean Edinson Cavani and Luis Suárez can be compared. At least that's how Edinson Cavani believes, as he spilled out about his relationship with Barcelona's ace. 

Speaking at Monday's pre-match press conference, Cavani ruled out any comparison between himself and Suárez, as he believes there are some striking differences between them.

"Beating Barcelona would be the best birthday gift" - Edinson Cavani

Becoming 30 years old is usually seen as a turning point in every man's life, but life's goals don't change for all footballers. In fact, when asked about the matter, Edinson Cavani revealed his birthday wish would be beating Barcelona, because he could be able to celebrate his special day with some of his closest pals: his team-mates.
