The Red Devils feat was excellent, but the Foxes’ one was quite the opposite.

Round 25 in the English Premier League is almost done and dusted, as Pep Guardiola's side are yet to place. This round saw the struggling top six sides get good results, and high-flying ones suffer a setback.

Chelsea still lead after the weekend encounters, but their advantage was cut to 10 points after a 1-1 draw with Burnley. That lead could drop to eight points if Man City beat Bournemouth on Monday. If they win, the Citizens will move jump to second, with Tottenham and Arsenal dropping to third and fourth, respectively.

Here’s how the table currently looks.

Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, English Premier League

Man United set Premier League record

Man United, being the league’s most successful side, boast several of the English top-flight’s records. On Saturday, they recorded a new one.

The Red Devils hosted Watford over the weekend, recording a comfortable 2-0 win. The victory saw them reach an amazing feat – becoming the first English club to win 2000 points in the Premier League.

Leicester also set a record, but it’s a very bad one

In case you haven’t noticed, Leicester are fighting to avoid relegation. Last season’s Premier League champions are only a point off the drop zone after their 2-0 defeat to Swansea, and are in danger of going down due to their horrific form.

That loss saw Claudio Ranieri’s boys set two awful feats:

  1. The Foxes are the first reigning top-flight champions that haven’t scored in six consecutive league matches.
  2. Leicester are also the club with the lowest points in England’s top four tier in 2017, tied with Aston Villa, Coventry & Leyton Orient at one.
