The Argentinean striker contributed with one goal during Barcelona's 6-0 victory against Alavés, adding a new personal milestone to his resume.

The game against Alavés had it's fair share of drama for Barcelona, but Lionel Messi will be one player that will remember it fondly.

"La Pulga" managed to extend his dominance as La Liga's all-time top scorer by scoring one more goal against Alavés. He had never played at Mendizorroza stadium in his illustrious career, and he managed to score during the second half. With that goal, Messi has now scored in 35 different La Liga venues, more than any other player in the Spanish top flight's history.

Back in September, Messi had surpassed Raul's tally of 33 stadiums by scoring against Leganés. There isn't a single venue in Spain where the Argentinean hasn't scored a goal. That strike also helped him reach 17 goals in La Liga this season, only one less goal than his team-mate and friend, Luis Suárez.
