Cameroon had a double win at the African Cup of Nations - the title of the champions, and the producers of the man of the tournament.

The Confederations of African Football has revealed the winner of the Player of the Tournament award at the just-concluded African Cup of Nations. The prestigious award goes to Cameroon's Christian Bassogog (pictured below).The 21-year-old played six matches and scored one goal for the Indomitable Lions on their way to the finals. At the club level, he plies his trade for Danish side AaB, where he has made 30 league appearances so far and scored four goals since 2015.

Thanks to his brilliant display at Africa's biggest football tournament, the youngster's future looks bright. It could just be a matter of time before he finally finds his breakthrough at the European club level. His teammate Benjamin Moukandjo won the man of the match award.
