Fernando Torres continues to set and break records at Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres has made a huge leap in his career at the club. The Spaniard has now reached the 100-goal club after scoring a brace in the 2-0 win over Leganes  in La Liga.  

The lethal forward joined the Madrid giants in 2001 and left in 2007, having scored 82 league goals in 214 appearances. He then signed for Liverpool in 2007, then left in 2011 for Chelsea where he spent four seasons. At the blues, he was transferred to Milan on loan between 2014 and 2015, before sealing a permanent move a year later. 

He finally returned to his childhood club, Atletico Madrid in 2015/16, and has since scored 18 league goals in 65 appearances to take the total to 100 goals in 279 apps for the Spanish giants in the league.
