The Brazilian center back, who has often been the recipient of harsh critics by fans and experts for his reckless behavior on the pitch, scored a stunning free kick for the Blues during their match against Liverpool.

Two facts stand out about Luiz's goal. He scored this goal while celebrating his 100th game as a Blue, and he also managed to break a streak of more than 1000 days since his last goal with Chelsea, including his stint as a PSG player.

David Luiz did not ask for distance before the free kick was taken, so he could surprise Simon Mignolet.
