Los Blaugranas defeated Real Sociedad 5-2, keeping their unbeaten run at home against the Txuri-urdin alive.

One more game, one more record for Barcelona.

As Los Blaugranas made it swimmingly into the Copa del Rey semi-finals, Luis Enrique's crew managed to set a new record in this competition.

According to stats expert Mister Chip (@2010MisterChip), Los Blaugranas have made it to the next round of every Copa del Rey tie for the 28th time. The only team capable of eliminating them has been Real Madrid, during the 2014 Copa del Rey final.

But the real milestone set by Los Blaugranas goes back the the 1920s. This is the first time in almost 90 years where Los Blaugranas have reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals for the seventh straight season. This is something they hadn't been able to do since the 1929-1930 season.

With Real Madrid out of the competition, it wouldn't be a surprise to have Los Blaugranas winning yet another Copa del Rey title. Let'see if the other three teams have something to say about that.
