Congratulatory messages continue to pour in for Man Utd and England captain Wayne Rooney.

Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is used to breaking records but this time round, his latest record could take ages to break. The England international scored his 250th goal for the red devils in their Premier League tie against Stoke City, a goal that secured a 1-1 draw for Mou's men with less than two minutes left.

The goal now makes the 31-year-old the all-time top goal scorer for the Manchester-based outfit. He equalled and surpassed the record set by club legend Sir Bobby Charlton of 249 goals for the 20-time Premier League champions 43 years ago.

And now, popular sports kits manufacturing company Nike is set to hand the skipper special boots to celebrate the historic achievement. The red and white boots, branded as the Hypervenom WR250, come with a special logo, a crown, and the number 250 printed. The number 10 also appears on the sides of the boot to symbolize his squad number at Man Utd.
