Zizou says he has a solution to Real Madrid's recent dwindling form.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has insisted that the recent back-to-back defeats will not affect the club's performance in the upcoming fixtures. The Spanish giants, who are top of La Liga table, risk crashing out of the Copa del Rey if they fail to overturn the 2-1 defeat they suffered at the Santiago Bernabeu to Celta. Los Blancos travel to the Balaidos next week for the return leg of the fixture and need to win by at least two goals without conceding.

But speaking after the defeat, the French manager revealed that what the club needs right now is to have 'more intensity and energy,' something that he is willing to pump in. He told the press:

"I wasn't surprised by Celta's performance, they're a good side and have what it takes to hurt you. I'm not worried, we're going through a bad patch right now, after these two defeats.

"We know that we have to get through this and we'll do just that. We've still got the return leg to come and we've got to put this game behind us. We're behind in the tie but we know that we're capable of going there and changing all that. Before then, we've got a game in La Liga and we've got to rest up.

"I'm in charge of the side and it's up to me to find a solution. Maybe we needed this defeat. We now have to overcome this situation and find a solution. We must keep our cool, be calm and continue to work just as we have been. The squad isn't affected by this, but we have to perform with a lot more intensity and energy to overcome this minor setback."

Liverpool flop Iago Aspas was vital in the Celt's win, scoring and providing an assist to steer Eduardo Berizzo's men to the important victory. Prior to the two defeats Real Madrid have suffered this year, one against rivals Sevilla and the recent one against Celta, the Merengues had done 40 matches unbeaten in all competitions, hence setting a new Spanish record. Only their rivals, Barcelona, had come close with 39 unbeaten matches.
