A former Man United player has described Pogba as 'useless' and 'immature.'

Former Manchester United youth player Eamon Dunphy has blasted world-record signing Paul Pogba following his appalling performance against Liverpool last Sunday at Old Trafford. The Frenchman had a bad day in office, misplacing passes, failing in his interceptions and lacking creativity. This was quite unexpected considering that he had been in fine form in the recent past, a performance that steered the Old Trafford outfit to a run of nine victories in all competitions for the first time since 2009.

And now, Eamon believes that the 20-time Premier League champions had wasted the £89 million spent on Pogba last summer. Speaking to RTE, Dunphy said:

"Pogba was never worth £100 million,"

"At £20m he would have been expensive. With the money they've spent with Mourinho and [Louis] van Gaal, they should really have a better team.''

The 71-year-old, who also played for Charlton and Reading, now works as a pundit for RTE

He then added:

"He plays like a kid. He is not worth the money they paid for him and he won't be worth the money they paid for him.

"He is the elephant in the room. He's useless."

"Paul Pogba is very immature.

The 23-year-old has made 20 Premier League appearances so far for Man Utd and scored four goals. And following the heavy criticism of his performance for Man Utd during the 1-1 draw with rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend, he posted the following message on Instagram.
