Dimitri Payet has reportedly hit West Ham United's last nerve, and the club is now willing to sell him.

West Ham United have set the buying price for Dimitri Payet, as reported by Le Parisien. The France international has been a top transfer target for his former club Marseille, who recently tabled a £20million bid to re-sign him.

But the Hammers believe that the amount is not enough to sign the Euro 2016 finalist. And after a recent boarding meeting, the London-based club decided not to accept anything les than £29 million from Payet's suitors.

It is still unclear if the French club will be willing to part with that kind of money but they have no other choice considering that Payet is a top transfer target for a number of English and European clubs. He is reportedly training with West Ham's u23 squad having told manager Slaven Bilic that he does not intend to play for the senior team any more.

And according to the Mirror, the 29-year-old has also threatened to fake injury if selected to play for West Ham again, something that has prompted the club to consider selling him despite earlier insisting that he was not for sale. The British publication quotes an insider as saying:

“He has said that unless he gets a move he will neither train nor play and he will invent an injury.”
