He is one of Arsenal's biggest stars in the recent times, but also the club's biggest problem.

What started as a mere speculation is slowly becoming a reality - Alexis Sanchez has shown signs of frustration at Arsenal and could push for a move away from the club soon. The Chilean, arguably the gunners' best player in recent times, was seen arguing with his teammates following the disappointing draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday. The gunners had to fight back from three goals down to secure the draw, with the former Barcelona man doing most of the donkey work as it has been in most of Arsenal's games since his arrival at the Emirates in 2014 from Barcelona.

There is no doubt that the 28-year-old has a burning desire to win titles like he used to during his days in Catalonia, but it seems such expectations are far from reality at the North London club. Such sheer determination to win the title, which ends up as mere frustration at the end of the season, is the reason the likes of Robin Van Persie decided to hand in his transfer request to the club's hierarchy five years ago.

Sanchez storms off the pitch, throwing his arms up in the air with anger after the draw with BournemouthSanchez storms off the pitch, throwing his arms up in the air with anger after the draw with BournemouthBack in North London, this has been the same script every year - a tale of one player giving his all (read RVP, Alexis Sanchez) and his teammates taking it for granted. The likes of Ozil play like Maradona when they face little-known Ludogorets but then transform to a more skillful but slower Lord Bendtner when tougher opponents come calling.

The star is said to be demanding 250,000 British pounds a week in his new contract negotiations but obviously, Arsenal think it is a ridiculous amount while there is a player across the city who goes by the name Bastian Schweinsteiger, and earns at least 200,000 a week yet he has kicked the ball only once this season. The star is said to be demanding 250,000 British pounds a week in his new contract negotiations but obviously, Arsenal cannot offer that much. Across the town, there is a player who goes by the name Wayne Rooney, and earns 300,000 a week at the benchWhen Giroud scored that equalizer against Bournemouth, his 'scorpion kick' celebration was cheered by gooners worldwide. But there was something else that many fans had failed to notice; the player's shameless satisfaction with the equalizer. With at least four minutes remaining to the final whistle, it was utterly appalling to watch the Frenchman take his sweet time celebrating the goal, yet they still had more than enough time to find a winner - and even add one more.  That was the most Arsenal thing ever.

And with Giroud's mentality, a draw with Bournemouth was worth staging a dance concert at the corner flag.

Every other player had returned to the pitch, except Giroud. Lucas Perez (circled) also tried to divert Giroud's attention back into the pitch. Sanchez (far left) can be seen dashing back to the pitch.Every other player had returned to the pitch, except Giroud. Lucas Perez (circled) also tried to divert Giroud's attention back into the pitchThe man from the shores of Tocopilla has covered Arsenal's major weaknesses for three seasons and that's why he is the main problem here. It is because of him that Wenger keeps entering the transfer market split between signing Karim Benzema or refreshing the browser to find a cheaper player.

Monreal's intervention didn't helpMonreal intervention didn't helpSanchez has made Wenger and his fellow average-minded crew at the highest office at the Emirates to coil back into their comfort zone, making their fans believe they will win the league but only ending up finishing above Spurs. The Chilean is a winner, a natural fighter, an aggressive winger, playmaker and attacker - and the reality is, without him, Arsenal would be another average mid-table team.

For the club to fully-understand the underlying crisis that has haunted them for more than a decade, Sanchez should not be in the picture. The ex-Udinese man is more than a player at Arsenal - he is a Messiah, carrying the cross for other non-deserving players led by the top office. He needs to rise up and carry his own cross through the nearest exit at the Emirates. This is the only way Arsenal fans will open their eyes, see the light and realize the bitter truth about the situation at their beloved club.
