The French manager discussed Rodriguez's quotes following the Club World Cup final, where the South American hinted his time at the Bernabeu would end soon.

There will be no transfer business made by Real Madrid involving James Rodriguez in the near future, as coach Zinedine Zidane stepped up and spoke about the rumors linking the South American to an exit in the current transfer window.

Speaking at a press conference prior to the first of three consecutive games against Sevilla, the French boss played down all interest in letting the South American go, despite not handing him the amount of minutes the former Porto and Monaco player needs to shine.

Rodriguez had been rumored to have a complicated relationship with Zidane, following the player's rants for being overlooked by the Frenchman since he took the job in January 2016. Those rumors were also dismissed after a leaked video emerged, showing Zidane and James sharing a laugh during a training session.

James is expected to feature for Real Madrid against Sevilla in this Wednesday's clash.
