The 17-year old goalie denied Paulo Dybala's penalty to lead the way for the Rossoneri against Juventus.

AC Milan fans have to thank a young, rising goalkeeper, for their Supercoppa Italiana success.

Not only in the defining moments of the game, but throughout the 120 minutes of the match, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma emerged as the team's savior against Juventus, helping the Rossoneri end a five year streak without any trophies against their bitter rivals.

Giorgio Chiellini scored the opening goal for La Vecchia Signora, but Giacomo Bonaventura cancelled that goal before the break. AC Milan seemed more comfortable on the pitch, as Juventus struggled to create chances.

But whenever the bianconeri succeeded, Donnarumma was there to deny them. The young keeper took a stand and kept a clean sheet for over 100 minutes.

Here's one of his best saves.

As Donnarumma saved Dybala's PK, Pasalic scored the game-winning shot to kick off all celebrations. "Gigi" earned praise from most fans, as we can clearly see below.
