But it’s not as alarming as fans might think….

Given Alexis Sanchez’s contract issue at Arsenal, fans can be forgiven for being worried over the player’s future. Any disgruntled expression or cryptic Instagram post could send Gooners into meltdown.

Then worrying remarks that the Chilean ace made on being in London came. Speaking to Arsenal Magazine, the former Barcelona man opened up about life in the English capital. According to the player, he finds it “stressful”.

However, before supporters begin spiraling, one must read carefully as to what Sanchez’s was referring to. The Arsenal star was revealed that he loves the coziness of his home, as he finds London too crowded.

“I like to go to London to eat something or have a drink with my friends.

“However, I am a very home-loving person and I spend a lot of time at home.

“I do explore the city if I have the time for it but normally I would rather stay relaxed at home. London can be a stressful place because it's crowded and it's a big city.

“Our routines as footballers can be energy-consuming too. You play one game after another, meet new people every day and travel a lot. That is why I try to disconnect and relax as soon as I get some time off.”

Alexis’ future at the Emirates remains a worrying issue, though. The 28-year-old is keen on a new £200,000-a-week deal, with Arsenal’s £180,000-a-week offer being turned down. However, the north London outfit are reportedly willing to break the bank in order to hold on to their South American sensation.
