The tournament will be played in 14 different stadiums. The cities of San Antonio, Nashville, Cleveland and Santa Clara will host this tournament's games for the first time.

A new edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup will take place next year, and the first step of the process has been announced today.

Fourteen stadiums will host the tournament for the first time, including The Alamodome, the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, and Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

As of now, seven teams have secured their spot in the competition. Jamaica, French Guiana, Curacao, Martinique, Canada, the U.S. and the 2015 champions, Mexico. The remaining teams will be announced once the UNCAF tournament comes to a close in January.

CONCACAF revealed the venues hosting this tournament on their Twitter feed.

Mexico and the U.S. will be two of the three seeded teams in the tournament. The other one will most likely emerge from the UNCAF Qualifiers, with Costa Rica and Honduras being the front-runners to win that spot. The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place in July 7th, with the Final match scheduled for July 26th.
