Neymar would love to play alongside this Real Madrid player at Barcelona.

Barcelona superstar Neymar has revealed the player he would love to sign from Real Madrid, if he had the chance. The 24-year-old star was speaking to CNN ahead of Barca’s clash with City rivals Espanyol this weekend in La Liga.

The speedy forward admitted that he would not break the famous MSN attacking trio if he had the chance to bring in a new player from their rivals Real Madrid. Of course, many fans would expect him to opt for four-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo but he was not the man the former Santos player was referring to. He told CNN.

"I would pick Marcelo.

"Why? Because he is my friend! Not even Cristiano? No, I would pick Marcelo.

But the Brazilian star was careful with his comments when asked about the best trio between MSN (Messi, Suarez, Neymar) and BBC (Bale, Benzema, Cristiano). He replied:

"I wouldn't say which the best trio was because I don't like to. I never like to say that I am better than anybody else, but this trio [Barcelona's MSN] has made history and will continue to do so.

"Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or four times and Bale is having a great season. Benzema is a great striker who I think is a superstar.

"They are star footballers who are respected.

"It is a good battle, a healthy battle which we have in the Clasico."

Real Madrid are currently participating in the FIFA Club World Cup tournament in Yokohama, Japan. They play Kashima Antlers in the final of the competition on Sunday at the International Stadium Yokohama on Sunday.
