The eight ties for the next round of the Champions League have been decided, and it hasn't been favorable for all.

The draw for the Champions League round of 16 was held on Monday, as fans eagerly waiting to find out their opponent in the knockout stage were put to ease – some, at least. For some teams it meant good news, for other not so much.

Much debate surrounded who Arsenal would face, as they stood a change of getting Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the next round. The escaped facing the reigning champions, but got the Bundesliga giants instead.

Barcelona, hoping to win their second Champions League crown in three years, got a familiar foe in the form of PSG. The Ligue 1 giants, having finished second in their group, now have the daunting task of stopping Messi and Co. 

Defending champions Real Madrid didn't get the Gunners, but will now have to deal with Napoli. Neighbors Atletico were handed a tricky clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

Manchester City, currently struggling with form, will take on Monaco. The Citizens need to look no further than what happened to Arsenal two seasons back before underestimating their opponent.

Leicester, in their debut season, will face off with Sevilla. The Foxes, as well as all the other group winners, will be the away side for the first leg before playing at home for the second.
