The German wingman scored a quick counter-attack to grant Thomas Tuchel's team a well-deserved point while keeping the top spot of Group F.

Marco Reus is certainly making an impact for Borussia Dortmund, and his latest goal surely helped the team reach a milestone.

The German wingman, who has scored four goals in two UEFA Champions League games this season, sent the ball into the back of the net against Real Madrid to settle the 2-2 draw. With that goal, Reus helped his team score 21 goals in the group stage of the competition, a feat never accomplished by any European side.

Curiously enough the former record holders were their opponents tonight: Real Madrid.

The last time Borussia Dortmund finished at the top of their group in the UEFA Champions League came back in the 2012-2013 season. They managed to beat Real Madrid to the top spot and eventually reached the tournament's final. Will history repeat itself?
