Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has cleared the air regarding the transfer rumors linking Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez to the Etihad in January. The Chile international has been on fire for the Gunners this season, having already scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 19 games this season. He has also been named the Vitality Player of the Month following his recent string of good performances.

But speaking ahead of their UCL clash with Celtic, Pep has dismissed claims that he has been trying to lure the ex-Barcelona man to the Etihad in the recent past. Sanchez and Pep worked together during their good old days at Barca, and a possible reunion between the two has been doing rounds in the press.
