Serie A - Matchday 15 overview
Last round saw Juventus suffer a shock 3-1 loss to Genoa. That marked the first time that the Bianconeri had conceded three goals in Serie A since Massimiliano Allegri took over in the summer of 2014. Juventus are also dealing with a major injury crisis in defense, as Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves now join Andrea Barzagli on the treatment table, whilst Giorgio Chiellini still is not 100 per cent fit. Normally, the Bianconeri will be fancying their chances against upcoming foes Atalanta, but La Dea have been in very impressive form and could pose a tricky test.
Gian Piero Gasperini's lads have earned 28 points, but 25 of those are just from the past nine rounds. No other side in Europe's big leagues has earned more during that period than Atalanta, who are on an eight-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the upcoming Derby della Capitale will pit a second-placed Roma against their fourth-placed cross-town rivals Lazio. Just one point, however, divide the Giallorossi from the Biancocelesti, and if history is any precedent, fans may see quite a scrappy tussle between the Lupi and the Aquile:
