A failure to win will hand a further setback in the title race. Chelsea top the table and are now six points ahead of Wenger’s boys after their win over Tottenham on Saturday, meaning Arsenal must rediscover the groove quick.
Unfortunately, Le Prof won’t be welcoming back any of his injured players. The likes of Santi Cazorla, Lucas Perez, and Per Mertesacker remain sidelined. A similar lineup to the 2-2 draw with PSG can be expected, though the likes of Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, or Granit Xhaka could earn a start.
Bournemouth have a few selection headaches, number one being that unavailability of Jack Wilshere, as he is ineligible to face his parent club. Artur Boruc has a back problem, but could be deemed fit in a late test. Andrew Surman (hamstring) is a doubt, whilst Brad Smith (foot) and Lewis Cook (ankle) are out. Jordan Ibe, however, is due to return.
