Lionel Messi could remain a Barcelona player for the rest of his life.

La Liga defending champions Barcelona are reportedly planning to bind Lionel Messi at the Nou Camp for life. The contract negotiations are expected to begin soon after the much-anticipated El Clasico.

According to Spanish publication SPORT, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is in talks with Messi’s father, who is also the player’s agent. If the negotiations yield results, it would put an end to the numerous transfer rumors that have linked the superstar out of the Catalan club in the recent past.
