Javier Hernández scored one of the best goals last season against Wolfsburg, and managed to beat some top names to win the award.

It seems like Mexican striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández took the best decision when he decided to join Bayer Leverkusen, since he keeps collecting awards whenever he's up for one.

Today, Bundesliga's Twitter feed in Spanish revealed that the Mexican striker won the award for the best goal scored by a Latin player in the league's history. "Chicharito" beat Arturo Vidal, Brazilian striker Grafite and even Spanish ace Raúl González to the prize.

Here's how the league's Twitter feed revealed the news.

"The winer for the Best Latin goal in Bundesliga history is...Chicharito! Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen's player!"

"Chicharito" returned from International duty today, and is expected to feature against RB Leipzig this Friday.
