After leading Chile to an epic comeback win against Uruguay in CONMEBOL's World Cup Qualifiers, Alexis Sánchez downplayed fears of a possible injury.
Before boarding the plane that will drop him off in London, Arsenal's ace revealed that nothing will stop him from playing against Manchester United this Saturday, in what's expected to be an epic English Premier League showdown.
"I travel today [Wednesday] to London. I will train on Friday and travel the same day to Manchester to play Saturday midday. There's no problem with me playing," Sánchez stated.
Coach Arsene Wenger complained about how Chile used his top-choice striker, since La Roja's medical staff ruled him out of Thursday's game against Colombia, but gave him the OK to play against Uruguay three days later.
Despite Wenger's concerns, Sánchez performed superbly for the Chilean side against La Celeste, scoring two second-half goals and keeping Chile's World Cup chances alive.
