Mexico managed to sneak away from Panama with one point, but some of El Tri's players had a few 'memories' left in their body.

Who said football isn't a contact sport?

One of CONCACAF's escalating rivalries is the one between Panama and Mexico, as both teams have battled each other in recent times to win regional tournaments such as the Gold Cup, and have added controversy to the mix with their toe-to-toe battles to earn a spot in the World Cup, especially during the road to the 2014 edition.

Yesterday, Mexico earned one point at Estadio Rommel Fernández, but for some players, this game was no walk in the park. One of those footballers that will have more to remember this game is Raúl Jiménez, who was repeatedly kicked by defender Luis Ovalle, who escaped being booked time after time.

This blow to the side is a good example of Ovalle's "intense" defensive skills.

Once the game concluded, Jiménez took it to social media to show the damage. Have a look.

"Here's a 'memento' from last night's match, and he didn't even get a yellow! But that's football..."

After two games, Mexico and Panama are even at four points. The Final Round of CONCACAF's WC Qualifiers is led by Costa Rica, who won both games against Trinidad & Tobago (2-1) and the USMNT (4-0).
