Gone is his previous leg art, replaced by a new tattoo.

Whilst the Brazil players are focused on stopping Argentina and their 29-year-old superstar captain, the media has its eyes locked on Lionel Messi’s leg. Unfortunately, he hasn’t done anything amazing in regards with football.

No, instead the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is doing the rounds on social media because he has gotten a new tattoo – or an update to a previous version. His new leg art was pictured during a training session for Thursday’s World Cup qualifier.

Gone is the visibility of his leg’s skin, as it’s now almost entirely covered by ink. The number 10, which he wears for both club and country, is in clear sight – though the facts that it’s now engulfed by black ink may be distracting for a few.

His previous tattoo has been covered. Before, the Blaugrana legend sported flowers and a picture of his son Thiago on his left leg, but that is no longer.
