The Brazilian striker is currently in Mexico, where he will be inducted to FIFA's Hall of Fame.

Leo Messi's fans can rest easy. According to Ronaldo, la Albiceleste will not only qualify for the 2018 World Cup, but there will be a good chance for "La Pulga" to finally lift the trophy.

Speaking in a press conference held at legendary Estadio Azteca in Mexico, "O Fenomeno" ruled out the possibility of Argentina not featuring in the global tournament, despite being ranked sixth in the current Worl Cup Qualifiers.

"No, I can't see that happening. I'm sure Argentina will make it to Russia. Brazil's team was in a much worse shape, and I can't picture a World Cup without them. They need to hurry up, but there's no reason for them to be restless now," Ronaldo stated.

The legendary striker also looked back into his playing days, and regretted having to deal with several injuries that forced him to say goodbye to the game.

"I would've loved to to have more time to achieve things on the pitch. Those injuries prevented me from enjoying the beautiful game thoroughly," the former Real Madrid & Barcelona ace added.

Ronaldo will be inducted to Football's Hall of Fame on Tuesday, as part of the Class of 16 that will include legends such as Karl Heinz Rummenigge and Paolo Rossi, among others.
