Is Mesut Ozil on his way out of Arsenal? Well, at least one source believes so.

Arsenal fans are a worried lot – one of their key midfielders, Mesut Ozil, fondly refered to as the King of Assists, could leave the Emirates Stadium anytime soon, according to the rumor mill. Turkish media outlet Hurriyet reports that the Germany international travelled to the Eurasian country to hold talks with Robin Van Persie’s Fenerbahce.

Eight months ago, English publication The Sun reported that the ex-Real Madrid midfielder was keen on sealing a move to the Super Lig giants but the deal did not materialize. It now seems that the king of the midfield at the North London club is willing to switch to Turkey in January.

Ozil is also in talks with Arsenal for a better deal that could amount to 250,000 British pounds a week. But the Yellow Canaries are said to be willing to offer him a more lucrative contract to lure him to Turkey. The 28-year-old has already scored six goals in 10 appearances for the Gunners this season, a performance that has attracted the attention of manager Dick Advocaat.
