Los Blancos' winger is set to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2021, the club has confirmed.

Real winger Lucas Vazquez has signed a new deal with the club to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2021. The 25-year-old now follows into the footsteps of the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, who recently penned down deal deals with the Spanish giants.

Vazquez has been a key member in Real Madrid’s squad – he joined the La Liga giants in 2010, playing for the youth side where he made 14 appearances and scored two league goals. He was then promoted to the Real Castilla squad in 2011 where he made 92 league appearances and scored 15 goals. His breakthrough to the senior team came in 2015 and he has since made 33 league appearances for Zidane’s side and scored four goals in the process.

With Madrid the Spaniard has won the UEFA Champions League in the 2015/16 season, and the UEFA Super Cup in 2016. Real Madrid confirmed via their official website that a deal had been agreed between the player and the club and an official announcement is expected on Thursday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
