The African striker has been linked to a move to Etihad Stadium, as Pep Guardiola wants to reinvigorate his attack while parting ways with Sergio Aguero.

Once again, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is on one of the EPL's top spending teams, and it seems like Borussia Dortmund's execs are tired of such things happening.

A report by the Sunday Express revealed that the Citizens were ready to splash cash to sign the Gabonese striker, who is one of the candidates to win the 2016 African Player of the Year award. That report suggested that the Sky Blues would have no problem to meet Borussia Dortmund's demands, while offering the player a staggering deal.

But before this news escalated, Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc stepped up and delivered a one-liner that put an end to all the gossip.

"I don't want to react to this bullsh*t" anymore," Zorc replied to stop all rumors.

Aubameyang is the Bundesliga's top scorer with seven goals in the same number of games played.

Even though Aubameyang has been linked to most top-caliber teams in Europe, it seems highly unlikely to see the Ballon D'Or nominee leaving Signal Iduna Park soon. The Gabonese ace has three and a half years left in his contract, and Zorc's remarks seem to create a gap between what Manchester City might want and what could actually happen.
