The third round of the Europa League matches is finally here with some exciting features to look up to. All eyes will be on the struggling Man United, particularly Wayne Rooney, who is set to make history if he scores a goal in this match. The England international scored a hattrick against Fernabahce on his European debut in 2004 and has since gone ahead to score 38 goals in Europe for the Red Devils. He now needs one more goal to match Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record for the Old Trafford outfit at the European level. The return of Robin Van Persie to Old Trafford will also be one of he most eye-catching moments in the third round of matches.

Another player to watch on Thursday will be Francesco Totti. The Italian has made 99 appearances for AS Roma in Europe. If he features on Thursday, this will be his 100th European appearance. The 40-year-old legendary player has been praised from all quarters of the game in his glittering career, with his teammate Sinisa Mihajlovic recently explaining that Totti has been the best player in Italy for 25 years.
Genk’s wonderboy Leon Bailey (pictured below) will also be the center of attraction on Thursday. The 19-year-old has already scored three goals for his side in the group, and is the joint-top goalscorer alongside Ludogorets’ Joaozinho and Aleksandr Kokorin of Zenit St. Petersburg. The Jamaican youngster has already attracted the attention of Premier League giants Man United and that would be a good motivation for him when his side faces Athletic Bilbao. 
Meanwhle, Inter Milan manager Frank de Boer needs to steer the sleeping Italian giants to victory. The Nerazzurri currently sit at the bottom of the group which consists of Shaktar Donetsk, Southampton and Beer-Sheva, and have no points to brag about after two rounds of matches.
