Andy Cole has just revealed what many Man Utd fans would consider as blasphemy.

Former Manchester United player Andy Cole has tipped Premier League side Liverpool to win the league title this season. This comes barely 48 hour before Liverpool host their fiercest rivals Man Utd at Anfield on Monday night. Cole’s comments may not go down well with a section of Man Utd fans, considering its timing and the fact that the Reds are their greatest rivals in the history of English football.

But the reality is clear – Jurgen Klopp’s men are firing from all cylinders this season, something that puts them in serious contention for the league title. They have already scored 18 goals this season in the campaign, more than any other side. The Daily Mail quotes the former England international saying this about Klopp’s men:

''I love what they have going forward. I think in attack they are sexy. The goals can come from all over the park. That is what I do like.

''Klopp bringing in Sadio Mane... I think (Daniel) Sturridge is England's best centre forward, when you have got players like that you are going to score goals, you are going to create goal.

''Are they a title threat? Yes I think they are because Klopp has got them playing with so much energy now.''
