Team news

Toulouse

Last season, Toulouse barely escaped relegation as they ended up in 17th spot. But so far, it's been pretty good for Les Pitchouns, who presently find themselves in fourth spot. Pascal Dupraz's troops are still unbeaten on home turf, and despite netting just 11 goals, all but three of those have been at the Stadium Municipal. And they finally managed to end their long frustrating record against PSG by shocking Les Parisiens 2-0.

The hosts will be coming into this match having suffered a 1-0 loss to Caen before the international hiatus, and Dupraz will have to make do without several key players. Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro and Tongo Doumbia are injured, Somália is reportedly working his way back to full fitness, and Ola Toivonen sits out due to a ban.

Monaco

22 goals in eight games. And no, it's not PSG. Monaco are currently the highest-scoring side in Ligue 1 Leonardo Jardim's men sit just one point behind current league leaders Nice and three ahead of PSG, whom they have already beaten this season. A resounding 7-0 thrashing of Metz - which so far is the highest-scoring result in Ligue 1 - will have them full of confidence as they also hope to maintain their long-standing good away record against Toulouse.

In terms of personnel, Nabil Dirar, Benjamin Mendy, Falcao, and Adama Traoré are all in doubt for this game, but other from that, Jardim will have a full squad available.

Broadcast info - Nancy vs. PSG

Who's playing: Struggling Nancy will do everything they can to stop PSG, but Les Parisiens are aiming to make it five wins in five Ligue 1 games as they look to close the gap on leaders Nice.

What time: Saturday, October 15th at 08:00 PST/11:00 EST/15:00 UTC/16:00 BST/17:00 CET

  • PSG are currently on a four-match winning streak

Team news

Nancy

Nancy are back in the top tier for the first time in four years, but so far, it has been nothing but a miserable campaign for Les Chardons. They presently sit bottom of the table and are already looking like one of this season's relegation candidates. Even more disconcerting is the fact that they have scored just three goals in their first eight games, and have failed to score in six of their matches.

There has been no reprieve for them at home, either. Nancy have earned just one point in their four home matches. Not surprisingly, expect them to approach this ultra-defensively, with a 5-4-1 formation as they attempt to keep PSG at bay for as long as possible. With Tobias Badila and Clément Lenglet both out due to suspension, current Nancy manager Pablo Correra will have to figure out how to adjust for what looks like a tough evening for his side.

PSG

Currently, PSG sit in third. Last season, that would have been quite surprising, but Les Parisiens are four points behind league leaders Nice. They have already lost two games, which has equalled the amount they lost in 38 matches last season. With Champions League action in a few days, Unai Emery will have to decide how to manage his squad. Still, PSG obviously do not want to drop any more points as it could see Nice and Monaco pull further ahead.

Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva have all returned to the fold after injury lay-offs and should be able to slot back into Emery's starting XI for this game. Next up for Les Parisiens is a home tie against Swiss outfit Basel, and since drawing Saint-Etienne, they have won their last four league games - all without conceding a single goal.
