The Argentinean midfielders got into each other's way during the final seconds of the first half, prompting a heated exchange that had Maradona showing his true colors.

Pope Francis' intention of getting together some of the game's most relevant names of all time had a rather uncomfortable moment, as Diego Armando Maradona and Juan Verón got into a heated exchange, following a late tackle by "La Brujita".

Everything seemed to be going on smoothly, and as the game approached the end of the first half, Verón couldn't hold back and challenged Maradona for the ball. "El Diez" fell down, and Verón carried on running, but Maradona was just getting started with his rant.

As the pair headed for the locker room, their exchange started escalate. But regardless of the occasion, Maradona called Verón a "son of a b..." before he was dragged into his team's dressing room.
