Here’s Claudio Ranieri’s response to the reports linking him with the England job.

What happens when you steer your club to its first-ever Premier League title thus writing one of the best underdog stories in the history of football? The job offers start trickling in from all corners of the world of football. This is what has happened to Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri after winning the league with the Foxes and steering them to a 100% record so far in the Champions League.

The Premier League defending champions sit at the top of Group G with six points in their UCL debut, and thanks to the sacking of England manager Sam Allardyce, there have been several media reports suggesting that the Italian could be appointed the next manager of the Three Lions. However, speaking during a post-match interview, the celebrated tactician was asked whether he was considering the England job, which comes with the opportunity to work with some of his key players such as Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy.
