Nuno Espírito Santo insists that the Foxes remarkable feat from last season should not be overlooked.

Leicester City may be struggling in the English Premier League, but they still remain the champions of England – until another team claims the title, that is.

The Foxes lost 4-1 to Manchester United in their last game, but look to put their woes behind them when they resume their Champions League campaign – their debut season in the coveted competition.

Claudio Ranieri’s men host Porto, a respectable team with history in Europe despite their struggles as of late. Regardless, given that Jamie Vardy and Co. won 3-0 against Club Brugge, the Dragons would be wrong to underestimate Leicester.

Speaking ahead of the King Power Stadium clash, Porto boss Nuno Espírito Santo demanded that his boys show nothing but respect for the Premier League champions, especially given the Portuguese’s giants poor record in England.

“What Leicester did last year was remarkable, and we must respect them,” said the Portuguese tactician.
