Manchester United’s 4-1 win over Leicester City treated the world to several post-match buzz, one of them being whether Jose Mourinho has silenced the critics after losing three consecutive games.
However, much focus was on another man who has been under the heat: the world’s most expensive player Paul Pogba.
Given the hefty fee that the Red Devils had to fork out in order to land the Frenchman, many were expecting the former Juventus ace to score, assist, and do the dab from day one.
However, the 23-year-old had to wait for his first goal since rejoining the 20-time English Premier League champions. That wait, though, came to an end on Saturday.
Manchester United’s number 6 finally found the back of the net in the impressive win over the defending champions, with Pogba scoring the last of the Red Devils’ four goals. And of course, the player did the dab.
This set Twitter on fire, as the hashtag #Pogback – used to announce the player’s Old Trafford return – crept back onto social media. Many hailed the Frenchman, claiming that he is on his way back.
Others just used it to mock the midfielder. Check out the best tweets.
