Team news
Torino
After losing their opening match, Torino rebounded in excellent fashion as they cruised to a 5-1 win over Bologna. However, things have since gone awry for Siniša Mihajlović's side. The Granata have picked up just two points from their last three games, including back to back scoreless draws with Empoli and Pescara.
Still, injuries have obviously not helped the team's cause, and they did manage to salvage a point with Pescara despite going down to nine men. The return of key attacker Andrea Belotti could not come at a better time for the hosts, who are missing Giuseppe Vives and Afriyie Acquah after both picked up red cards in their last game, as well as Arlind Ajeti, Adem Ljajic, Danilo Avelar, Cristian Molinaro, and Maxi López as a result of injuries.
Roma
As for Roma, Antonio Rüdiger, Thomas Vermalen, and Mario Rui are still out, but other from that, Luciano Spalletti will have everyone else available. The Giallorossi are coming into this game having picked up an easy three points during a 4-0 drubbing of Crotone. Prior to that, however, the Lupi lost to Fiorentina. That result was notable as it was the first Serie A defeat since January, and following this match, they're back in Europa League action against Kazakh outfit Astana.
Given that they drew their first Europa League game, Spalletti obviously will want to see an improved performance from his men on matchday two. Winning against Crotone - who are making their debut in Serie A - was a promising sign, but it was also expected, and the Giallorossi will be keen on making sure they stay close behind Napoli and Juventus by making it two wins in two this Sunday.
