It is official- The 2016/17 season is quickly living up to its expectations.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has been trending on social media for his rocket-like goal for the Blues against Premier League eague defending champions Leicester City in the League Cup at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday. The hosts had taken the lead in the first half thanks to Shinji Okazaki’s brace, but Gary Cahill pulled one back for the visitors to head into the break with the scoresheet reading 2-1.

And five minutes into the second-half, defender Azpilicueta capitalized on a defensive error outside Chelsea’s box to fire in a 25-yard screamer that found the top right corner of the net, with goalkeeper Begovic well beaten. The goal sent the home fans into a frenzy in the stadium and it’s magic could also be felt on social media. Check out the golazo below:
