The Argentinean striker bagged yet another hat-trick for the Citizens, leading the way for a comfortable 2-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Sergio Aguero has proven to be quite an asset for Manchester City, and his performance today during their 2016-2017 UEFA Champions League debut was a good proof of his class. Aguero's brace led Guardiola's team to an easy win against the Germans, and provided the Argentinean a chance to increase his goal scoring tally with the Sky Blues.

Even after not playing a couple of games for the Citizens, Aguero has made his mark for Pep's team in most matches played. Aguero has sent the ball into the back of the net 14 times in the past 12 games, including nine goals in five matches played under Guardiola.

His first goal came after nine minutes, soon after getting away from all defenders swiftly.

19 minutes later, the South American ace scored from the spot, erasing doubts about his penalty-taking skills after missing two PKs during the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers against Steaua.

With the game nearing its end, Aguero bagged a hat-trick, his second under Guardiola following his three-goal performance against Steaua in the UCL Qualifiers.

Even Borussia Mönchengladbach's Twitter feed admitted they had a hard time dealing with Aguero.
