And he feels the French champions are yet to find their feet under new manager Unai Emery

Over the summer, PSG lost their all-time leading goalscorer and most polarizing strikers when Zlatan Ibrahimovic walked out the door a free agent only to join Man United.

After netting 156 times in 180 games for Les Parisiens, the Swedish ace decided to call an end to his time at Parc des Princes, a decision which Arsene Wenger feels will hurt the Ligue 1 champions’ European hopes.

Unai Emery’s crew begin their new Champions League campaign on Tuesday with a clash with Arsenal. Le Prof, though, believes that PSG are yet to find their feet under Laurent Blanc’s successor.

Speaking to Goal, the Gunners boss said: “They will continue to be the dominant team in France but they lost more than a player with Ibrahimovic.”

He was the leader, the captain, a charismatic carrier of the ambition of the club and it's always difficult to measure - when you lose a player of that stature - how big the damage is.”

Wenger added: “At the moment they have also changed managers so they are trying to find their feet.”

PSG, a side known for their dominance in France in recent years, have not begun well in the domestic league this time around. Despite having played four games so far, Cavani and Co. sit in 7th win only seven points.

Jese Rodriguez and Hatem Ben Arfa have been recruited in order to help with the goalscoring burden, with Cavani a key presence in their starting eleven. Only time will tell whether PSG can cope without Zlatan.
