Team news

Swansea City

For Swansea City, this could be a big game for none other than Borja Bastón. The 24-year-old Spanish attacker was signed for a club record fee of £15.5 million this past August and provided that he passes a late fitness test, he will be thrown straight into action. Given that the Swans have failed to win a match since opening day, fans will be hoping that their new signing will be able to inject some much needed attacking verve into the side.

Chelsea

After being linked to a slew of defenders, with Antonio Conte trying to bring in much-needed reinforcements, most Blues fans weren't exactly thrilled about the player who eventually joined the side. It goes without saying that David Luiz will have a lot to prove after making a return to Stamford Bridge in a move costing the London giants £34 million. However, Conte is well known to prefer a three-man back-line - a tactic he used whilst in charge of Juventus and the Azzurri - and the Italian tactician is hoping that the Brazilian's arrival will allow him to explore that option.

As Serie A followers are well aware, Conte managed to turn Juventus from a struggling fallen giant into arguably the strongest side in Italy. Chelsea supporters, naturally, will be hoping that he can work the same kind of magic with the Blues this season, and it's been a pretty solid start with nine points earned out of a possible nine. Players like Eden Hazard, who was clearly marginalized last season and was quite poor, appear to be in inspired form, with two goals so far.

In terms of absentees, the only notable player missing out will be Kurt Zouma, with the French defender still working his way back to full fitness after a horrible knee injury last season.
