Arsenal have had a few lords in recent years, most notably Marouane Chamakh and (sadly) Gervinho. However, none can match Nicklas Bendtner, the striker who was too cool for scoring.
The Danish forward never really found his rhythm at the Emirates Stadium, and after failed loan spells with Sunderland and Juventus, he left the Premier League for Wolfsburg.
Nine goals in 47 appearances – accompanied by a few disciplinary problems – saw the 28-year get released by the Bundesliga club.
However, the player is now reportedly set to make a return to England. Sadly, though, it won’t be the Premier League, as Bendtner is being linked with Championship side Nottingham Forest.
According to Greek journalist Antonis Oikonomidis, the club held “three weeks of hard negotiations” with Bendtner and look to have finally struck a deal.
Never say never... After 3 weeks of hard negotiations, there's a very strong possibility for Nicklas Bendtner to be the last #nffc signing.

The Guardian claim that the free agent is currently in “advanced talks” with the Tricky Trees, currently seventh in the standings.
Interestingly enough, Nottingham Forest face the Gunners on September 20 in the League Cup’s third round, meaning Bendtner could face his former side.
Cue Gooner meltdown when Lord Bendtner scores the winning goal against Arsenal.
