  • La Vinotinto are without a win, drawing one and losing all other six games.

Argentina without Leo and “the next Messi”

Any normal team forced to play without player of Sergio Aguero’s caliber would be devastated, but Argentina have several attackers at their disposal and thus carried on.

The Manchester City forward was ruled out of the international break through injury, which had many wondering whether Edgardo Bauza made a mistake in not calling up Gonzalo Higuain.

Any regret over snubbing the Juventus star may amplified by the fact that the two-time World Cup winners will be without two key attackers for their last game of the international break: Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala.

Their five-star captain, who returned from a short retirement to score the winning goal against Uruguay, suffered an injury in the 1-0 victory which has ruled him out of the Venezuela clash.

The Barcelona star returned to the Blaugrana due to his groin injury, as the Catalan giants are now made to sweat over the fitness of their influential attacker.

Dybala, on the other handed, is suspended for the game after being sent off against Uruguay for two bookable offenses.
