Manchester City’s shot-stopper Joe Hart could be heading to the Serie A.

Out-of-favor Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart could be on his away to the Serie A this summer. The England international goalkeeper is racing against time to find a new club before the transfer window slams shut on Wednesday 11:30pm.

Hart has fallen down the pecking order at Etihad since Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the club while second-choice goalkeeper Willy Caballero has been preferred between the sticks before the arrival of former Barcelona goalie Claudio Bravo, who is expected to don the number one shirt at the club. The latest development would see Hart dropped to the third spot this season.

And now, reports from Italy suggest that the 29-year-old has attracted interest from Serie A side Torino. The club’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi confirmed their interest to Sky Italia, as quoted by Football Italia. He said:

"The goalkeeper is an idea we wanted to follow. If it's Hart, then good, otherwise we will certainly be doing something on the market for that role."

Hart, despite the current challenges facing him at Etihad under Pep, has been named in England’s squad under the new manager Sam Allardyce. He joined the Citizens in 2006 from Shrewsbury Town and won the Premier League title twice, FA Cup once and the Football League Cup twice. At the international level, he has 63 caps for the Three Lions since his debut in 2008.
