Following Zinedine Zidane's success as Los Blancos' coach, Florentino Pérez will add to the mix yet another player from the historic 2002-2003 era.

Real Madrid's president wants to keep adding historic names to the lineup, and even though he's been retired for almost five years, former Brazilian striker Ronaldo will become Florentino Pérez's consultant in the upcoming weeks.

Ronaldo's return to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium has been desired by Florentino Pérez for the past couple of years. Nevertheless, the striker's commitments to the 2014 World Cup Committee and the 2016 Olympics as a spokesman got in the way. Now, with both events concluded, the player will work for Pérez to promote the club all around the world.

"O Fenomeno" scored 104 goals in 177 games for Real Madrid, winning two La Liga titles.

The two-time World Cup winner with Brazil will be unveiled as Florentino Pérez's consultant next week. He will also become a spokesman for the club, just like Raúl González and Fernando Hierro did years ago. "O Fenomeno" will be the third "Galáctico" returning to the club, following Roberto Carlos' appointment as a youth coach, and with Zinedine Zidane coaching Los Blancos' senior squad.
